No Rules, Just Right

What I’m Reading and What I’m Watching

tell me more

As a multifaceted woman who wears many hats and honors many titles (gah, can y’all relate?!), the one I’m most proud of is encourager.

Meet Courtney

I’m dying to know what’s in your hands and what you’re reading this summer.

Whether you’re by the pool, at the beach or on the lake. Or heck, maybe just on your couch. 😉

I’d also love to know what you’re watching, too. Like, who doesn’t love going down a good Netflix/Amazon Prime/HBO Max rabbit hole?

But, before you respond and give me all the deets, I figured I’d share what’s on my list with you, first. Here goes!

What I’m Reading

Happy Pocket Full of Money

I almost don’t have words for this. Heavy on the metaphysical, but damn. It’s THAT good. Pretty much has nothing to do with money and is all about how the world works based on actual science/laws, etc. Really, really, really powerful stuff. I read it once before passing it off to a friend and am about to order myself another copy so I can re-read it.

The Game of Life and How to Play It

I love this classic (it’s from the late 1800s or early 1900s or something) because it’s short enough to read during William’s nap on a Saturday afternoon but transformative enough to make a lasting impact.

Everything is Figureoutable

Haven’t actually started this one. It’s up next in the queue. But who doesn’t love Marie? Should be light and refreshing like a cool breeze on a summer evening, soda water and lime in hand.

What I’m Watching

Emily in Paris

Yes, I’m definitely late to the party on this one. But better late than never right?! Already counting down to the season 4 premier and will be hosting a virtual watch party for those interested.

Wedding Crashers

Greg and I were out to dinner a few Saturdays ago and somehow wound up quoting a little Wedding Crashers. We then were like “OMG, we have to go home and watch that!” So we did. Oldie but FOR SURE goodie.

Person, Place or Thing

You’ll have to find this on YouTube because the new season doesn’t drop until September, but it’s a twist on the classic 20 questions game. Melissa Peterman hosts and is the absolute cutest (and funniest!) and I love playing along to flex my general knowledge skills. If you’re a trivia buff, you’ll definitely enjoy it.

So tell me, what are you reading and what are you watching? You inspire me and I wanna know!
