Nothing works unless you do. 

There, I said it. 

Eeep, I know. Slightly triggering. 

Here’s the thing though, you know I’m gonna call you out. And you know I’ll call myself out while I’m at it. There is no shame in my game! 😉 

The books, the workshops, the courses, the masterminds, the retreats, the conferences, the processes, the systems, the gear, the trainings, the technology, the webinars, the workbooks, the hacks, the tweaks, the calls, the consults, the advice, the strategy, the coaches, the mentors…

…none of it works UNLESS YOU DO. 

At this point, y’all prolly think I’m a broken record with regards to the phrase “take action” but, I don’t care. 

It’s gotta be said! 

There comes a time when you have to take what you have learned, what you have digested, what you have downloaded and apply it to your life (and yes, biz too!) through action. 

Messy action. Inspired action. Clear and confident action. It doesn’t really matter. 

The key is simply ACTUALLY doing the work and making things happen. 

Taking one step forward, even when you don’t know what that step might be. 

Making forward progress, even when it’s inches and you wished it was miles. 

It makes me think of college football (which I am a huge fan of, btw!) – all they need is 3 yards every single play and they win. 3 measly yards. And yet, look how challenging that is!  

BUT, teams win the game all the time with plays that pick up 1-2 yards, plays that are actually negative yardage and yes, plays that are runaways with 20, 30, 40 or even 80+ yards. 

Your life and your biz are the same way. 

It doesn’t just require studying the plays though (which, as you know, IS important!), you gotta get on the field, get in the game and point blank make it happen. 

I mean, the touchdowns don’t just appear because the players read about ’em in a binder during a team meeting! 

So, pony up buttercup and apply yourself, because nothing works unless you do.
