Anyways, it came on my Spotify in the car over the weekend and the lyrics really hit me, so naturally, I had to share.

Life and our biz are the exact. same. way. And to be honest, I think y’all forget that. Like, A LOT.

WE DON’T KNOW WHAT FLOWER IS GONNA GROW.

And we surely don’t know if it will be a daisy or a rose.

In fact, we don’t get to make that call and to be really honest with you, it’s not even our call to make, anyways, so MOOT POINT.

Instead, our job is to plant the freaking seeds.

When we’re focused on planting seeds, we’re focused on the journey.

The present moment. The here and now. The purpose. The intention. Our gifts. Our calling.

THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS AND WHERE FREEDOM AND FAITH TAKE FLIGHT.

When the seeds finally bloom? Whenever and wherever that is, well, that’s just bonus points in the game of life (and biz!).

So, are you doing your job?

Be honest.

Are you really?

Or are you missing the entire dang experience and all of the joy that goes along with it because you’re too distracted by figuring out when somethings gonna bloom and if it will be a daisy or a rose?

Spend some time getting real with yourself on this today and then get out there and plant your seeds.
