No Rules, Just Right

Action Is Embodiment

tell me more

As a multifaceted woman who wears many hats and honors many titles (gah, can y’all relate?!), the one I’m most proud of is encourager.

Meet Courtney

So you wanna make some moves, huh?

Like, 2024 is your year. Listen, I get it. And I’m here for it. Abso-freaking-lutely.

But first, I’m gonna let you in on a little secret…

What brought you here, won’t take you there.

Old keys don’t unlock new doors.

Big results don’t come from small risks.

Nor do big results don’t come from small actions.

And for unrealistic results, you’re gonna have to make some unrealistic moves

And nope, thinking about it doesn’t count.

Heck, reading about it or learning about it doesn’t count, either.

As Gary Vee has been known to say (and I’m paraphrasing here) – “There’s a big difference between reading about push ups and actually doing push ups.”

At the end of the day, action is embodiment.

You decide

You commit

You be

That’s really all there is to it.

The cool thing is, actions create a new belief system.

And that new belief system will propel you forward with confidence and other dopamine and endorphins it will release in your brain which will create a nice little self-fulfilling cycle.

Along with rewiring a new story for you to tell yourself.

Lawd knows the brain and ego like to make up some stories, too.

Might as well feed ’em some good ones. 😉

There’s just one problem though.

Most people are doing it backwards.

Instead of taking action, they say: “I’ll wait until XYZ before I do ABC” or “Once XYZ comes into play, then I can ABC”  or whatever the fill in the blank version is for you.

You know what I’m talking about.

And yes, it’s self-sabotage.

So, stop thinking about what you want and just go be about what you want. And remember, action IS embodiment. So go be in alignment with who you want to become and simply take part in the habits, routines, activities and rhythms that version of you would be committed to.
