As you’re reading this, I’m not actually sure how long you’ve been around these parts. So, let me loop you in on something you may (or may not!) know about me: I get a weekly blowout.

Yes, someone else shampoos and blow-dries my hair once a week. 

Sue me. 😛 

I share this, because that hour or so in the salon chair with my stylist is super sacred. 

We have the best convos. 

And they have the best energy. 

It’s truly a joy filled and empowering spot in my week. 

Isn’t it funny to think something so impactful can exist from something so simple? (Hint: remember this next time you’re working with your medium!)

Anyways, recently my stylist said something that stopped me in my tracks and I had to share it with you here. 

She said (and I quote): “We don’t make mistakes. We only make discoveries.” 

Well, butter me up and call me a biscuit, y’all BECAUSE I AM SHOOK. 

Here’s the thing, she’s 110% absolutely correct.      

And while she was referencing her time in beauty school, the sentiment completely resonates with life and biz as a whole, too.          

So listen up!

If you can bring this simple shift in your energy, perspective and intention to 2024…well friend, I’ll see you on the moon because it’s this kinda stuff that allows the cream to rise to the top.
