As a multifaceted woman who wears many hats and honors many titles (gah, can y’all relate?!), the one I’m most proud of is encourager.

Meet Courtney

Today I want to talk a little bit about personal power

More specifically, how we’re giving it away.

Each of you has it. If not, you wouldn’t be where you are right now. (Let that sink in…)

But, time after time, we seem to find people, places and things to give it away to.

And that is NOT the vibe. Nor the person you were made to be.

Maybe you’re into people pleasing. Or worrying about what other people say or think of you. Or what consensus strangers on the internet have about you. Or what your industry defines as “success.” Or what your family, partner, friends or misaligned clients’ expectations of you are.

Regardless of what it is, you can break the cycle and take your power back to be more you than ever before with a conscious and courageous choice, one day at a time.

After all, that’s what the world needs: more you.

And for you to show up as you. I mean unapologetically you

So, what’s it gonna take?

A healthy mix of emotional intelligence, detachment and mindset, I’d say.

This is non-circumstantial stuff we’re talking about here. So searching outside of yourself isn’t where it’s at. You won’t find any answers there, anyways.

You can start by also not making things mean something personally about you.

I know, what a pain in the ass, right? To actually not take things personally? Phew, y’all, this ain’t for the faint of heart. Imma need a minute.

So today, take a moment with yourself and identify where you’re giving your personal power away.

Where are you not doing the thing that you want to do which will give you the result that you want to achieve?

Then, say screw it and just GO DO IT

You have my permission!

Ok, class dismissed.
